Call now if you want to come and see us

Please call on 01726 850636 if you would like either to come and see us or for any more information our Mum might be able to help you with.
She know all about us and likes to talk  about puppies and dogs.

4 weeks old to day

We are now 4 weeks old are getting more and more adventurous.
We are also ready for any new Mummy's and Daddy's to come and visit us.

Our personalities are starting to show. Some of us are very out going and like to be the first to the food and out to play ,while others are slightly more reserved and like to take our time to asses the situation before we rush in .

3 weeks to day

The puppies are 3 weeks old today and have celebrated in style with their first taste of solid food, well it was very wet and slopy really but you have to start some where.

They are also getting more and more vocal especially when  I am trying to watch T.V.

We are growing up FAST

The puppies are growing up so fast their eyes are now open and they have started to move around so much that I have extended the whelping box to give them room to stretch their legs, also to contain them as they kept on escaping only to be found under the T.V or behind the sofa.

They have been wormed and had their nails clipped again neither of which they enjoyed but both are essential for their health and development.
Amber is now starting to spend less time in the whelping box with them but she now lies on the chair watching over them and telling Fern off if she gets to close.

Two weeks old today

The puppies are now 2 weeks old and have just started opening their eyes, today is also worming day they will be wormed for 3 consecutive days at 2,5 and 8 weeks.
I cut all of their nails yesterday, it is amazing just how sharp they get, so if they are not kept short they scratch Amber while they are feeding. It also starts to get them used to having it done from an early age.

They have been out in the garden enjoying the sunshine, Amber kept an eagle eye on them the whole time they where out side.
Fern wanted to play but they aren't up to that just yet

Friday 8 June 2012

The puppies are now 11 days old and have all more than doubled their birth weight.
Amber is as always being an amazing Mum feeding and cleaning them 24 / 7 only leaving them to run into the garden and then straight back.
They are becoming more mobile and much noisier calling to each other and Amber when ever they become separated from the rest of their siblings their eyes are looking as though they will be opening within the next couple of days.
I have started a list of those who are interested in having a puppy and will be arranging viewings from next weekend (If Amber is OK with it.)
I will also be taking a small deposit to reserve your puppy from then as well. (£50)
This is a so you are certain of getting the puppy you want.
The bitch puppies will be £650 and the dog £600 this will include your "starter pack" with full instructions, 2kg of puppy food, 8lts of water if you live out of Cornwall, feeding bowls, collar and lead, toys, a blanket smelling of Mum and the rest of the litter, 4 weeks free Pet Plan insurance plus lots of other goodies to get you started.
The puppies will have  been  checked over by my vet at birth, then again at  2 weeks and just before you take them home.
They will also have been wormed with Panacur at 2,5 and 8 weeks of age, and will have under gone an extensive socialization program to ensure that they will fit into your family with ease.
You can see how previous litters enjoyed their days out by looking back to the older posts.
I WILL NOT HOME PUPPIES TO THOSE WHO WORK FULL TIME as you need to be home  to house train and socialise your puppy .

These are the latest pictures taken last night.

Tuesday 5 June 2012

Amber has had 6 beautiful puppies 5 bitches and 1 dog  a week ago on 29th May.
They are all putting on weight and have been to see the vet who gave them all a glowing report.
She is being a brilliant Mum and is very attentive to the puppies only leaving the for quick trips into the garden.
Fern keeps on looking at them wondering where on earth did they come from!
They will be ready to go to their new homes on the 24th July and will have been back to see the vet, and come home to you with, "full instructions, a 2kg bag of food, bowls, collar and lead,a blanket smelling of Mum, toys and lots of other bit and pieces to help you with your first few days at home.
Cockerpoo puppies are very smart and learn very quickly and will learn all of the wrong things if you don't show them the right way, so they are NOT the dog for you if you work full time or have a very busy social life.
They are very good around children but if you have toddlers please remember that all young puppies have very sharp teeth and will chase and nip and should never be LEFT ALONE with children.
Amber's previous  puppies have gone to live all over the U.K and have grown up into stunning dogs.

This is your last chance to own one of these amazing puppies.
